I still remember the day Erik called me.  We instantly hit it off on the phone.  We shared the same values and love for family.  He really knew what marriage was all about.  He spoke about such an unselfish and genuine love for Robyn.  Erik truly wanted to make Robyn happy.  In fact, he lived to make her happy.  Erik was 'The Man' in my book.

Erik and Robyn were married at the Golden Lamb Buttery in Brooklyn, Connecticut.  This was my first time photographing the Golden Lamb venue, although it was not my first time there.  The owner is actually my cousins, cousin.  I am pretty sure that means we are related, but I am not exactly sure how. :)
The wedding ceremony on site was beautiful.  The golden light shining through the trees made for such a romatic setting.  Erik and Robyn had pure, genuine smiles as they exchanged their vows. It was as though each word they said made them more and more excited to be one step closer to being pronounced husband and wife.
I won't go into the details of how I captured my favorite image of the night, but you can see the blog post about that magical moment by clicking here.
At the end of the night, Erik and I had had a great conversation.  He expressed how happy he was to have me photograph the most important day of his life.  I can't lie, his sentiments made me feel like a million bucks.  I hope Robyn and Erik know how much I truly enjoyed photographing their amazing day.   I wish them both so much love and happiness as they start the next chapter in life together.
