Don't you just love when your friends and family play cupid and set you up on a blind date?
Well, seeing as how I'm sitting here blogging about Rachel and Andrew's wedding, sometimes those blind dates can be a success!
Rachel and Andrew were introduced to one another by Rachel's cousin Danielle and Andrew ' s best friend Kurt (who happens to be cousin Danielle's husband).
The very first time they met each other was at the Malted Barley in Westerly, Rhode Island ( SIDE NOTE: Try the jalapeno and cheddar stuffed pretzel . It's delicious. ). One of the first things they learned about each other was they have the same birthday!
I first met Rachel and Andrew on a very snowy day in December at Perks and Cork s, a local, upscale and trendy coffee shop in Westerly. My first impression of Rachel and Andrew was, "Wow. " I loved how they interacted with each other - I could truly feel the love between them. I also loved how all of us share the same faith. In fact, Andrew is a drummer at church!
Photographing their wedding was like photographing the wedding of a close family member or friend. It was so relaxed and laid back. From getting ready all the way to the dancing it was such a fun - filled night.
To Rachel and Andrew, may your new lives together be as amazing as your wedding day.
